Snowy Days ~ Taken Yesterday

Our Christmas

We had a great Christmas, Super Guy got a lot of Dinosaurs, just like he wanted. Boogie Man was more interested in eating the wrapping paper then playing with the toys inside of it.. And we even caught him chewing on a rubber dog bone that our dogs got for Christmas.. lol..
It snowed here a little bit in the morning, so we finally got our White Christmas we always wanted. :)
We had kinda a lazy day yesterday, which was a nice change. I cooked a small chicken, stuffing, green bean casserole and sweet potatoes for dinner.. And then we had pumpkin pie for dessert! All of which was very yummy!! :)

New Boogie Man Photos!!

My silly little baby boy!

I was watching "That 70's Show" one night, it was an episode where Eric (the main character) was running naked through a town hall type meeting. Anyways as he was running naked he was saying "Wee Wee, Pee Pee".. LOL... So then i had to go change Booge Man's diaper and as i was changing his diaper i said to him "Wee Wee, Pee Pee".. He laughed and laughed.. It was so cute!

Anyways, so every once in awhile, while i change his diaper, i say to him "Wee Wee, Pee Pee" and every time he laughs... This started about 3 weeks ago, i believe....

So yesterday he was in his crib playing (while i was putting some laundry away), he then pulled himself up and was hanging onto the crib.. He started yelling at me "Wee Wee"... "Wee Wee"..... "Wee Wee"..... I think he thinks that is my name or something because he kept doing it all day, whenever he wanted me, he would yell out "Wee Wee".... LOL..

When Hubby got home yesterday he heard all of this for himself and was like "What have you taught our son?!" LOL....

And he is still saying it this morning too! I guess the bright side is, that he is one smart little baby!

New Stuff!

Hey Everyone!!

I hope you all had a Great week! I can't believe it is Friday already, wow this week went by really fast. Anyways i have good news about Boogie Man... Are you ready?..........Are you sure?...........

Just kidding, Anyways the good news is that he has been officially crawling for almost a week now!! And he is sitting up all by himself........ Also, yes there is more.. LOL...... He can pull himself up by grabbing onto pretty much anything!!

He is getting so big!

He is so funny! He will pull himself up in his crib to where he is standing up and hanging onto the crib, but then he gets scared. Not sure what he should do next or how he is going to get himself down he starts to cry.. Poor little guy! lol. That sounds a lot like me when i am on a ladder... LOL.

This weekend we are going to be getting our Christmas tree. We are actually going to buy a Real one.. I haven't had a real tree for Christmas since i was probably in high school. I am so excited! I will take lots of pictures and get them posted as soon as i can!

Oh and Tomorrow is Hubby's birthday! We are going to make Tamales for his birthday, yummy yummy! I can't wait! :) I will also take pictures of that too! :)

Ok, i am sure there is more i wanted to share, but i have just lost my train of thought... Hmm, hopefully it comes back soon! lol.. Ok, have a great weekend everyone!!

Happy Birthday Michelle!!!!

We made it back from Las Vegas yesterday! We went down to Vegas to spend Thanksgiving with my Mom and Dad. We left Wednesday morning and got back Saturday evening. We had a lot of fun and i am going to post pictures here in a little bit.

Yesterday was my sister Michelle's birthday, but since we were driving all day i didn't have time to come online and wish her a Happy Birthday, so this is a day late, but better late than never, right?!

Exciting stuff!!!

Last night (2 days before Boogie Man is 9 months old) Boogie Man grabbed the couch and pulled him self up. He stood up (holding onto the couch) for a full 2o seconds and then he started to fall over, but luckily i was there to catch him.. lol :)
I just wanted to share the exciting/ good news!! :)

Good News!!!!!

Boogie Man just got his first tooth!!!!! I noticed it Monday morning!! WooHoo!!! My baby is getting so big! :)

Super Guy: 3 years 5 months

Super Guy is doing great! He has got the attitude of a 3 year old, down to a tee. Which means tantrum after tantrum, which means Advil after Advil for me.. lol. Just kiddin'.. sort of.. lol.

He is so smart though and so eager to learn. One night ,as i was cooking dinner, he was giving me a spelling test... "Mommy, how do you spell, Machine?".. "M-A-C-H-I-N-E"..... "Mommy, how do you spell, Spoon?"... "S-P-O-O-N"..... "Mommy how do you spell, Turtle?"... "T-U-R-T-L-E"... And so on and so on for an hour! If i don't deserve a spelling test award, i don't know who does.. lol.

Word's Boogie Man is saying:

Dada- This was his first word.

Baba- 2nd word

Mama- 3rd word.

He is starting to crawl a little bit more, so close to being an official crawler.. He is starting to sleep though the night more. He loves to play with his big brother. He loves to be held. When he is drinking a bottle and you are holding him, he loves to grab at your face and put his hands in your mouth. He still sucks his thumb.

November Already?!

Hey Everyone!

I hope you all are doing ok! Tomorrow is election day! Finally!!! I don't know about all of you, but i am so sick of hearing all of the political talk. It's like there is no way of escaping it! lol. It's on the news, the talk shows, commercials, radio, online, etc. I am ready for it to be done with and i am excited to find out who is actually going to win the presidency.

The kids are doing good. Boogie Man is crawling a little bit more each day! Still no teeth though!

Super Guy got a fever over the weekend, but today he is feeling much better!

Hubby and me are both doing ok. We are excited for Thanksgiving! We can't wait, we love to eat!! lol. :)

Well, that is all for now, i should have some good news (i hope) on Thursday! I will keep you all updated!

Hey Everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween, we had a really good time. I did all of the pumpkin carvings, i left one aside for Hubby to carve and he might do that today. We took the kids trick-or-treating last night and they had a blast. Super Guy was very shy at first, he didn't want to say Trick-or-treat and he didn't want to say Thank you. After a couple of houses though, we were able to get him to say it. :) Boogie Man fell asleep so he just stayed in his stroller the whole night.

Today and tomorrow is "El Dia De Los Muertos", which means "Day of the dead". It is a Spanish holiday in which they remember all of their loved ones, who they have lost. It isn't a sad holiday, it is a happy holiday. They set up these alters and decorate them with things, that the person who died, liked. For example; their favorite food, drink, and whatever hobby they were into.

I think it is a great holiday and such a wonderful way to pay respects to that person. Today and tomorrow i will be thinking of all the people in my life that i have lost and when i think of them i will be thinking of only the good memories. I hope you all take some time and do the same.

Hey Everyone!

I hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween!! We are going to carve pumpkins today and take the kids trick-or-treating tonight!! The weather here is very windy and it is lightly raining on and off, just perfect for Halloween.. lol. Very spooky!!
