Happy Halloween!!

My hubby came back on Sunday!! :-) We were all excited to see him again, and luckily he was able to stay for Halloween.. Tonight we are taking the kids trick or treating!

Super Guy is dressing up as something like the Grim Reaper.. (oh how i miss the days of the duck)

Boogie Man is dressing up as an Angry Bird.. (better then a Grim Reaper)

Jelly Bean is dressing up as a flower.. :-)    (So glad i still have say in at least 1 of my kids costumes)

Day 11

Today is 11 days without my hubby..  :-( I miss him every minute of every day.. And the kids miss him just as much as i do...

I have to constantly remind myself as to why we are apart (money, doctors, schools, family, etc.), but some days that stuff just doesn't matter and all i want is my husband by my side. Today is one of those days :-(

Jelly Bean's Check Up

Yesterday i took Jelly Bean to the doctor for a check up and to get caught up on her Immunizations.

She weighs 25lbs (85%tile)
Her Length 31.5in (51%tile)

All around she is in the 90%tile


So she is a very healthy baby. :-)

She had to get 4 shots and they also took blood from her toe :-( She was not happy at all!!

Today she is still a little grumpy! Hopefully she starts feeling better soon!

Just another manic Monday

We had a pretty busy weekend, but it was a lot of fun!

Saturday we drove to Emmett (with my Sister & her husband) to visit my Grandpa and to do some Apple picking!

It was good to see my Grandpa again, i hadn't seen him since Christmas. It's always a little difficult for me to visit his house though, too many memories of my Grandma. As soon as i pull up into the driveway the first thing that hits me is; the memory of the morning my Grandma passed away and getting out of my parents car and seeing the sign "The Lee's" and breaking down crying.. That sign is still hanging up outside the house.

It's been what, 8 1/2 almost 9 years, since she passed and i still get teary eyed thinking about her. I suppose that will never go away.

*Sigh* Anyways after eating lunch with my Grandpa we went Apple picking!

The kids loved it, i don't think I've ever seen them eat so many apples before!! :-)

Then on Sunday we had our Sunday Night Dinner with my sister & her husband. It's nice that we get together once a week and have a big family dinner, especially with my hubby being gone, it's nice to get some adult interaction. :-)


This week is going to be busy for us too.. Tomorrow Jelly Bean is going to be getting caught up on her Immunizations :-( I'm totally not looking forward to that. Wish us luck!

Our 9th Wedding Anniversary was at the end of August and we spent the day in Minot, ND.

We had been to Minot a few times and had always passed by the Scandinavian Heritage Center & thought it looked really cool, so this time we decided we would take the tour of the place... And it was so worth it!! The architecture alone is AMAZING.. Check it out for yourself with the pictures below...

If you don't know, Dollar Tree, now accepts Manufacturer Coupons!! :-) They have been accepting them for like maybe a month now.

So i finally decided to try my luck and see if they maybe had anything good there that i could use some of my coupons on.

I dont' know if it's just a girl thing (the boys never did this) or just a Jelly Bean thing, but if something is laying on the floor, it is fair game for her and you best believe, she is going to put it on. Some of the things I've caught her putting on are: Socks, Sunglasses, Boxers, Pull-up's (don't worry they weren't used), Belts, and a few other things..

But her need for putting on extra stuff doesn't just stop there, nope, even as I'm trying to dress Boogie Man she is right there trying to put her leg into his pants right along with him.  :-)

Lonely Nights

Why is it when you are all alone during the night you hear Every. Single. Noise.?!

I don't know if that happens to you, but it does to me. When my hubby is here i can sleep very soundly, but when he is gone, every little creak & squeak wakes/keeps me up.

Tonight is night 3 without him and normally if he was here we would be in bed by now, snoring away,  but here i am sitting in front of the TV watching re-runs at Midnight.

And i should be doing something productive that i haven't been able to get around to doing during the day with the kiddos around, like unpack/go through all the boxes that have filled up the garage (seriously how did we accumulate so much stuff?!), but let's face it, that ain't happenin' (Thanks a lot Mom & Dad for the super awesome procrastination gene).

Just a little late night rant.. Good Night everyone!

I've been trying for weeks now to update my blog with the latest pictures of the kids, but for some reason every single picture i try to upload doesn't work, I get a "Server Error" message. It's super frustrating! So i have like hundreds of super cute (well i think all pictures of my kids are super cute) picture's of my kids & no way to share them with you. :-(

Anyways hopefully this issue will get fixed sometime soon.

In the meantime i will leave you with Our Family's favorite song right now, even Jelly Bean loves to sing along to this song! :-)
