Tomorrow is our first day of school, so i thought now would be a good time to show you our new school room before it becomes a mess again.
We recently moved rooms around in our house, to make what once was our living room into now our school room.
This wall has our calendar and a poster where we grade books we've read.
This is the door to our office, which is where our computers are at. The kids use the computers to watch math videos, do typing, and my oldest does Spanish on it.
This shelf has all our school supplies (pens, pencils, markers, crayons, etc.), art supplies, stickers, and it also has our turn in baskets for completed work. The pink little Dora chair next to the shelf is our Time Out chair.
This large bookshelf has a lot of our books on it, with our baby books (board books) on the lowest shelf. On top of this bookshelf has some sensory bin items in the larger bin, and the 2 smaller bins are filled with my daughters sight word books.
This is our Obedience and Disobedience chart area.
This area has our white board (which currently has our schedule on it), a book rack for all our current books we are reading in school, and another shelf.
This shelf is filled with movies & CD's, instructor guides, answer keys, radio/CD player, pencil sharpener, and books.
This large bookshelf is filled with more books. On top of this shelf has some counting bears and a few other odds and ends of things.
These 3 desks are for the older children. They each have their own workbox next to their desk.
And in the center of the room, this table is for Cruz to do his work on.
I hope you enjoyed this peak into our school room.
Stay tuned, tomorrow i'm sharing our curriculum picks and back to school pictures!
