It's been over a month since we got back from our vacation at the Oregon coast and i have just now finished up going through all the pictures i took. There was seriously a lot of pictures!
I can't wait to share them with you all.
Day 1- Sunday - June 18, 2017 (Father's Day)
Our plan was to make it to Bend, OR and stay the night there.
We got an early start, i don't remember exactly what time we left, but i think it was around 6 am.
The drive there was pretty uneventful. We stopped a few times on the side of the road to change diapers, but that was about it.
We made it to Bend around 12:00 pm, so our first stop was to Olive Garden to eat some lunch.
We then ran into Target ,that was close by Olive Garden, to grab some more diapers. Because with babies you can never have too many diapers, am i right?!
Then we found our hotel and checked-in.
All the kids were happy to be out of the car!
Next, we decided to take advantage of the hotel's indoor pool.
After hanging out in the pool for awhile, we went back to our room and everyone took a bath/showered.
Then we relaxed for a bit, ordered room service, watched some TV, and eventually went to sleep.
Day 2 - Monday - June 19, 2017 (My Birthday)
We woke up pretty early, i believe at like 4 or 5 am. We drank some coffee, got dressed, and then went downstairs to eat breakfast in the hotel's restaurant.
Went back to our room brushed teeth and packed up our bags.
Finally, we got on the road around 8 am. At last, we were on our way to Florence, OR. We arrived in Florence around 11:30/12:00. We ate lunch at Pizza Hut. Then went to go see the ocean.
Our check-in time for our beach house rental wasn't until 4 pm, so we were trying to just kill some time hanging out on the beach. However, it was really cold and windy. So we decided to try to go see if we could check-in early. Which luckily for us, we were able to do! We got checked-in to our beach house. Here are some pictures of the house we stayed in.
After getting the car unpacked/settled into the house, we walked down to the beach again.
Then it was time for dinner and (because it was my birthday) cake/ice cream!
After that we relaxed and finally went to bed.
Day 3 - Tuesday - June 20, 2017
When we stayed in Florence before, about 4 years ago, there was this spot we found that we enjoyed so much. So our mission on this day, after breakfast, was to find that one spot. Which we did! Yay!
This place is so much fun. My favorite part is looking in all the different tide pools for little sea creatures. We found lots of little crabs. *Which, after capturing to look at for a little bit, we did release*
I seriously could have stayed there all day.
After going to that area, we got lunch and headed back to the beach house.
Lincoln had a nap
and then we decided to go Souvenir shopping in Florence's historic old town.
Not much else happened this day, we just hung out and went to bed.
Day 4 - Wednesday - June 21, 2017 (Our last day)
We wanted to do some hiking on this day, however the trail we started to go down had closed signs posted, so we ended up turning back around and going to the beach.
It was a pretty relaxing day, we just tried to soak up the ocean/beach as much as possible since this was our last day here.
And before we knew it, the sun was setting and the day was over.
