May Reading List

I'm going to try to do this new thing every month, where i let you all know what books Our Family are reading that month.

I'll start with what the kiddos are reading this month...

Samuel (11 years old, 6th Grade)

Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Book 1: The Sword of Summer - He read the entire Percy Jackson series in like 10 days i believe. This book is by the same author and similar to Percy Jackson, so i thought he would like it. He just started reading it and he is almost done, so i guess it's going to be a win!

Then once he finishes that he will go onto

Infinity Ring Book 2: Divide and Conquer - He just finished up Book 1 last week and really loved it.

Those are his fun books, and together we are reading

The Golden Goblet - This book is part of his history class.


Dasean (9 years old, 3rd Grade)

Together we are finishing up The Sign of the Beaver - Which is turning out to be a really great book!

May Magic (Calendar Mysteries) - Samuel loved this books when he was younger, i'm hoping Dasean will love them just the same.


Karina (5 years old, Kindergarten)

Together we are reading The Boxcar Children Book 1

She is also reading her sight word books, which i don't have a picture of.

Veronica (That's me)

The Art of Hearing Heartbeats  - I've heard great things about this book and i'm really excited to read it.

The Woman in Cabin 10 - Last month i read "The Couple Next Door" (which was really good by the way) and this book looks like it will be just as amazing.


Read Alouds

Sherlock Holmes - We are almost done with it, once we've finished we will be moving on to...

The Adventures of Robin Hood
