Hi Guys!
Today i'm sharing my top 10 favorite Christmas movies...
In no particular order...
It's a Wonderful Life - "An angel helps a compassionate but despairingly frustrated businessman by showing what life would have been like if he never existed." - I absolutely love this movie! I always watch it with a box of tissues next to me, because it gets me every time.
The Bishop's Wife - "This Christmastime angelic intervention sparkles with good humor as Dudley the angel is sent to help a bishop and his wife survive their attempt to finance a new cathedral." - Anything with Cary Grant in it is a good movie in my book!
Christmas With The Kranks - "Fed up with the commercial aspects of Christmas, particularly all the money spent, and alone for the holiday for the first time in decades, as their daughter has just joined the Peace Corps, grumpy Luther Krank and his sweet wife, Nora, decide to skip Christmas this year and forgo the gifts, the tree, the decorations, the cards, the parties, and to spend the dollars saved on a 10-day Caribbean cruise." - A funny Christmas movie for the whole family.
How The Grinch Stole Christmas - "He's a crabby Christmas hater (for some silly reason). Can this green-tinted meanie steal everyone's holiday season?" - I love the Jim Carrey version of this classic story.
White Christmas - "These song and dance men bring some holiday cheer to sunny Florida. And woo a couple of lovely ladies in the process." - Good story line and the singing is wonderful!
The Santa Claus 1 & 2 - "A bizarre twist of fate transforms a divorced dad into the new Santa." - I'm not sure why i love these movies so much, but i do. Probably because Tim Allen is a comedic genius.
Elf - "One Christmas Eve a long time ago, a baby crawled into Santa's bag of toys Raised as an elf. Buddy goes looking for his true place in the world--in New York City." - I can pretty much quote this entire movie!! It's an all time family favorite!!
A Christmas Carol - "When three ghosts take penny-pinching Scrooge on an eye-opening journey, he discovers the true meaning of Christmas -- but he must act on it before it's too late." - I just love this movie.
Home Alone - "When little Kevin McCallister is accidentally left behind when his family dashes off on a Christmas trip, he is left to defend his family's home from two bumbling burglars until the relatives return." - Some of the language and stuff i am not a fan of in this movie, but it's a classic and i grew up watching it, so it made the list.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation - "The comic misadventures of the beleaguered Griswold family continue in this latest "Vacation" outing, the third and most successful of the series." - This is another one that i can pretty much quote the entire movie.
What's your favorite Christmas movie?
