We are having a very relaxing Easter this year.
My daughter woke us up at 1 o'clock this morning, throwing up, so our Easter isn't going exactly how we had planned, but that's ok. We are taking it easy and just enjoying each other's company.
Sadly, i didn't get around to taking any pictures of the kids Easter baskets this morning or any pictures of them searching for eggs around the house... but i did get a few pictures this week of some of the Easter things we have done.
If you follow me on Instagram, earlier this week i shared that we "egged" a neighbors house...
- ourfamilysdailylifeDay 2 of our Spring Break, and what did we do? Why, Egg the neighbors of course! 😂 Seriously how cute is this printable i found on Pinterest though?! 😍🐰🐣🥚 #springbreak #easter #ourfamilysdailylife#5kids #familytime #familyof7 #homeschool#spring #eggs
We have also been working on Easter themed word searches, which is my 10 year old's favorite thing to do...
We went to a local country supply store, to visit the baby chicks... Lincoln was the most obsessed with them and cried having to leave the store.
We went to a Panaderia (which means bakery in Spanish) for some Mexican Sweet Bread, which is a must for our Easter morning. My husband grew up always have bread and honey on Easter, so we are continuing on with this tradition with our own children.
My husband eats his bread with honey, as per his childhood tradition. However, all the children prefer to eat the bread without the honey.
This week, we also went to a egg hunt in our town. Lincoln enjoyed finding the eggs.
That's what we have been up to this week.
How is your Easter going? How do you celebrate? Let me know in the comments!
